I love knit

My very first job as a newly graduated designer was to design knitwear for a large Danish fashion company. Ever since, I have loved knitwear - especially here in the winter there is nothing better than beautiful soft knits in all sorts of imaginative patterns.
Here I will share a little glimpse of my pasion with you.

The Statement Necklace

I still love the statement necklace, especially when it is combined with a cool worn out T-shirt. A super feminine glam twist to a raw cassual look, just the way I like it.

Green is the new black

Sustainable fashion is one of the greatest trends at the moment.
I have previously written about the Danish dress swap shop Resecond and now I come across a similar Dutch project.
Lease A Jeans is the brainchild of the Dutch jeans brand Mud Jeans, concept is that you rent a pair of jeans for a monthly fee. so you constantly get new stylish jeans and at the same time support the sustainable thought.

Danish fashion week

Now the Danish fashion week is successfully completed  and here are some of the high lights;

Henrik Vibskov, with beautiful graphic patterns, inspired by the 20s Bauhaus movement. Henrik Vibskov masters complete balance between the commercial/useful and the exuberant creativity ... wonderful.

Wood Wood has made ​​a super strong collection with lots of sporty details.

Now I just can't wait for next summer when collections hit the shopes

I'm back

I'm back and here you can see the reason why I've been off line a few months,

my beautiful daughter Augusta. 

Along with her older brother Storm she is my biggest inspiration.

But now I'm back on the blog ... so look forward to more inspiration.

Quote of the week

H&M on the catwalk

For the first time in eight years H&M yesterday showed a collection on the catwalk. 25 looks created by H&M's design team was presented in Musee Rodin in Paris, France. Pixie Geldof, Ashley Olsen and Emma Roberts were among the guests.

The collection will be available online and in about 200 stores worldwide from 5th September 2013.

The Kooples have arrived to Copenhagen

The Kooples is one of my favorite brands and one of the shops I always look forward to see when I'm in Paris or London, but now I do not need to  go abroad to enjoy the beautiful French brand, they have just opened a shop-in-shop in Illum, Copenhagen.

The French brand Kooples is named after English 'the couples' but spelled the way French pronounce it.

Kooples are masters at making blazers with a great fit, delicious little dresses, tops and shorts. The style is completed Parisian chic with a raw twist.
