Copenhagen fashion week vol.1

Last week was fashion week in Copenhagen, Denmark. Here are some of the highlights that I found most inspiring;

Bruuns Bazaar showed the first collection from their new design team after former designer Rebekka Bay last season moved to New York. The collection continue in the minimalist style that Rebekah has started. It's beautiful, in exquisite materials and a modern cut.

Peter Jensen showed his collection in Magasin. The collection is building on the '60s-style cut, as Peter Jensen has worked with for several seasons, but this time the focus was on fine velvet details on the inside of a denim dress, and generally more luxurious appearance surfaces such as silk, wool and some super fine small fur collars. Intelligent and wearable fashion with a twist of humor. I especially love the jackets and the printed sweatshirt

Anne Sofie Madsen showed her collection at the town hall and here the theme was feminine Blade Runne. She showed how to boil down extreme thoughts to beautiful clothes. Here were both great showpieces and more wearable dresses and blouses.

The models were fitted with silver horns and tusks. The colors were kept in white, black and gray, with a touch of blue and orange. A cool and very exciting collection.
